JS Mobileon was incepted in April 2015 and in a very short span of time it has become one of the leading Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Brand in India and serving in 9 states of the country. The reason for such growth and excellence is its legacy in the business of manufacturing steel and automobiles.
The company has a rich heritage dating back to 1960’s when Late Jaswant Singh Sahni started Newlight Industries. He came to India from Pakistan in 1940’s after partition and started gaining hands-on experience as a lathe machine operator and a garage mechanic. He started at a young age of 18 and from such a basic job, he managed to become a successful entrepreneur with his own steel manufacturing units. He started his own business of manufacturing nuts and bolts and other heavy machine components. Owing to the problem in sourcing raw material he worked on bridging the gap by adopting backward integration and started his own Bright Steel Bars & Cold Drawn Bars manufacturing unit by the name of Newlight Industries.
He participated very actively in social welfare and worked towards the betterment of the weaker sections of the society. He paved way for the ideology of JS Mobileon with his vision and guidance. The company follows his footprints of developing technology-based solutions for social causes. The company is focused to innovate and design products which can cater to needy section and masses of India without harming the eco-system.
Following his philosophy and footsteps, JS Mobileon got incorporated in April, 2015 developing its flagship product “e-JS1000” and is also developing other revolutionary high-performance vehicles to bring the much-needed change in mobility industry of India and other developing countries. Being driven by a lean electric drive, these vehicles would not be only eco-friendly but they would also deliver enhanced output as compared to their fuel-based counterparts.
JS Mobileon is presently at a juncture where it aims to establish itself as a forerunner of the Commercial Electric Vehicle Industry.
